CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES

We are currently accepting new patients. While many patients are GP or specialist referred, a referral is not required.

Our chiropractors regularly perform examinations and provide treatment for car accident victims.

Our chiropractors treat a diversity of patients with a variety of health problems and varying treatment needs. Complex muscle and joint presentations that involve persistent lower back pain, sciatica, headaches, neck pain, and shoulder pain are commonly treated at our clinic. Each of our practitioners has different areas of interest.

Please read more about each team member to select one who would best fit you and your current health needs.

We provide direct billing chiropractic and acupuncture services for RCMP members and Veterans Affairs Patients.

We do not accept new WCB patients, please visit the WCB site for a list of WCB providers.

TREATMENT TECHNIQUES

The word “chiropractic” literally means “done by hand.” Our approach reflects that philosophy, emphasizing hands-on, individualized care tailored to each patient.

We utilize a wide range of techniques, including Diversified and Gonstead methods, as well as low-force options such as Activator (“clicker”), drop-piece, and pelvic blocking techniques. This variety allows us to adapt treatment to your body, your comfort level, and your specific needs. We never force a technique—care is always guided by your symptoms, overall health, treatment goals, and personal preferences.

For patients who find it difficult to relax, low-force techniques are often ideal. In these cases, we may use Activator or drop-piece methods to deliver effective, gentle adjustments. Whether hands-on or low-force, our goal remains the same: to restore movement, reduce tension, and help your body function at its best—comfortably.

We also believe that effective care goes beyond joint adjustment alone. Rather than a quick “crack,” we integrate targeted muscle work alongside joint treatment to enhance results. Our longer appointment times allow us to address both the joints and surrounding soft tissues, improving outcomes and helping you feel lasting relief.

When appropriate, we incorporate deep muscle release techniques and acupuncture to support joint function—particularly in cases involving neck pain, low back pain, jaw (TMJ) issues, shoulder conditions, and extremity complaints such as foot, ankle, elbow, and wrist pain. We find that this combined approach not only improves results but also helps patients maintain progress and extend the time between visits.

Chiropractic care is not one-size-fits-all. Different practitioners may use different techniques based on their training and experience, which can sometimes be frustrating for patients seeking continuity. If you’re transitioning from another provider, our team is happy to coordinate with your previous chiropractor to ensure a seamless, consistent approach to your care.

The Radix Pain & Rehabilitation Centre values our Veterans' and RCMP service members. We consider it a privilege to serve both DVA and RCMP patients who serve our country. Our office is an authorized DVAC and RCMP service provider. We will perform direct billing services through Medavie Blue Cross for Veterans and their pensionable conditions or active and retired RCMP members. To learn more about these treatment programs please visit our DVAC RCMP page HERE. We are happy to coordinate care plans with other providers and case managers when required as our way of thanking these outstanding individuals for their service to our country and community.
